Hannah S. & Hannah C. have both been integral in the YUFC U14 Flash
successful spring season thus far.  Both girls have been lock-down on
defense all season, leading the U14 Flash to a 3-2-0 undefeated
record. The U14 Flash are currently in 2nd place and are the only NPL
team in the entire league U12-U18 who have not allowed a single goal.
Statistically the YUFC U14 Flash have the honor of being the best
defensive team in the entire NPL on the girls side.

Coach Mones states, "Hannah S. is a great reader of the game and has a
natural ability to anticipate and break up tons of plays. Hannah C. is
one of the best 1v1 defenders I have seen in the age group and rarely
gets beat off the dribble. Both girls are very good in transition and
make it very difficult for opposing strikers to have any impact in the
game.  Both girls have played together for a long time and have
tremendous chemistry. I think they both compliment each other very
well on the field, are great leaders and compete every weekend at a
very high level.

Both girls have been with YUFC for 5 years. Hannah C. resides in
Easton and Hannah S. from Stratford, CT.

Kathryn A and Ellie V of the YUFC u16 Revoution were named co player of the week,Kathryn, co-captain of the Yankee squad, scored the game winning goal in the teams 2-1 Crossover Cup victory over NYSC NPL 98. She uses her strength and speed to get around players. Coach Rui states "Katie is a very strong player that I can use in defense and offense. She offers a dynamic to our attach with her speed, strength and strong shot. Her celebrations when she scores are one of a kind, but that is Katie being Katie. The team loves her personality."

Yankee United Reign ended up defeating PDA in the final leading to a great end of the season for all the girls. Coach Rui states, "Rebecca provides this team with a great presence at the forward position. Her ability to hold the ball and attract defenders to the ball creates a lot of space for other players around her. I have had the privilege of working with Rebecca for these last two years and it is because of her work ethic that she continues to improve. I look forward to seeing Rebecca continue her development and play an important role on this team. "
