Yankee United is excited to partner with Trumbull AYSO to offer high level, youth developmental soccer training clinics for girls and boys.
We focus on providing an optimal environment for its young players to excel in their development. Our coaches understand that the learning curve for these young players in regard to their skill development, is at its greatest during these formative years.
The YUFC experience for this age group will provide a positive and competitive environment where players can improve their individual ball skills.
Emphasis will be on the following:
- Helping players become comfortable with the ball
- Learning how, where and when to take a positive first touch with the ball
- How to attack space and relieve pressure
- Improving players vision in "seeing more of the field"
- One on one attacking skills
- Playing in small spaces under pressure
- Explosiveness with the ball while changing speeds and direction
