The Blaze was started as a U11 team in the winter of 2006 and has come a long way in a short time. The team has consistently improved its roster and continues to develop competent soccer players as well as confident and compassionate young women.

This season the Yankee United Blaze won 4, lost 1 and tied 2 games in the Northeast Regional League. They were State Cup semifinalists, losing in overtime 1-0. Memorial Day weekend the Blaze won the US Club Regional Qualifier to earn a trip to the US Club National Cup this July in Virgina Beach.
