YANKEE COMES TO FAIRFIELD
Yankee United has moved its Fairfield County Clinics to Fairfield at United Indoor Soccer, 176 Linwood Ave, Fairfield, 06824. We are very excited to have another winter home to host our winter, skill-specific clinics; a first in Connecticut Soccer to have all of our clinics pertaining to particular areas of player devlopment.

Finishing I, II and III – Yankee United’s finishing clinics have been the most popular clinics to date within our soccer school.  These clinics focus on the techniques of ball striking (both with the laces/instep and the inside of the foot) to be able to put a ball behind a goalkeeper.  We have extended our finishing clinic into a three-part series with Finishing I and II coming indoors and concentrating very heavily on the basics of ball striking and the mentality a goal-scorer must have to be considered ‘lethal’ by his or her opponents.  Finishing III is a unique finishing clinic where now we incorporate more than just scenarios right in front of the goal; we add crossing, making runs inside the goal box and bending the ball around goalkeepers.

(MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS: NHC  = 40, FC = 25)
